Silver Airways: More Capacity on the SJU–EIS Route

Silver Airways operates ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprops — significantly larger than Cape Air's Cessna 402 — making it a good alternative when Cape Air is fully booked or when you need more baggage flexibility. SJU is a major hub with connections to most U.S. cities and dozens of international destinations. American, JetBlue, Delta, and United all operate through SJU. Give yourself at least 2 hours for a connection at SJU — customs and security at Luis Muñoz Marín can back up, and international arrivals (which includes arriving from BVI) go through their own processing lane.
